The Student Conference Series

Connecting students from all over the world.

Video Presentations

March14

For the last few weeks we have been hearing great presentations from Minecraft to Fjord ponies. The students we have heard from have demonstrated excellent skills and certainly made their teachers and schools very proud.

On this blog we are starting to build a repository of great presentations that we hope will be used in classrooms all around the world.  But we understand that it is sometimes difficult in a classroom to find time to do a live presentations.  That is why we added the tutorial video series to the blog.

In this space we hope to share tutorial videos presented by students.

Students could:

  • Create a screen cast showing people how to do something.
  • Video themselves sharing a presentation
  • Using moviemaker/iMovie with photos, slides and a voice over.
Students can make the presentations in their school, in their own time and then pass them over to their teachers to submit.
Teachers please email Mel Cashen (cashen.melinda.m@edumail.vic.gov.au) to submit videos. Each school is responsible for permissions related to students appearing in videos and this must be checked prior to submission.  It is expected when a teacher passes the video on that permissions have been obtained.
